I am ashamed to say I spent the night here on June 11, 2007.
I am a qualified Road Warrior. I stay in hotels almost weekly!
This was absolutely the worst hotel/motel I have ever been in and it cost $200 + per night. In other cities, it would be condemned! Never let your wife or love ones stay here! The place is seriously run down.
"Negatives"
• Elevator did not work.
• No pillow cases were available for an extra pillow
• My room was the size of a walk in closet. Full size beds only.
• Room décor was dark & dingy
• The Restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday
(if you could call it a restaurant).
• You could see right thru the sheets
• Furniture was old and worn-out
• Hallways were dingy, dirty, and scary with little or poor lighting
• Vending machines were next to empty, TV was constantly being interfered with by what appeared to be the electronics within the hotel, perhaps the A/C or something- it flipped & fluttered constantly.
• You know the little signs that say, "If you forgot something, tooth paste etc. – well just don’t even ask!
“Positives”
• Hotel shuttle to & from Airport
• Close to LaGuardia Airport
• Dollar Rent-a-car next door
• Airport parking for your car
• Plenty of Hot water
• Remodeled bathroom
• Fairly new A/C in Room
• Iron & board
