What a pleasant surprise - I was worried because this hotel had availability when others did not - apparently the reason is the internet reviews of the public spaces - but my goal was a nice night in a clean and comfortable hotel room and I found it! I have very sensitive lungs/allergies and was worried that the room might not be fresh, but it was - just what you might expect from a much newer property. True, the common areas were older, but I wasn't staying in the common areas. Most of all, I liked the comfortable bed - nice linnens, mattress, etc. I will definitely stay again.

Horrible
The description of this hotel is full service...there is nothing full service about this hotel. This hotel is the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in. I travel over 200 nights each year, I have seen some really bad hotels and this one is in my top 5....

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. No lie, no long stories, just please stay anywhere else in ithaca but this hotel. You will regret every moment of your stay. The only nice part of the hotel is the lobby! They trick you to thinking...

The inside of the hotel appeared quite older and in need of remodeling, especially for the price as I did not consider this to be an economy accommodation.

I might recommend it to friends.

Mediocre
This was an old Sheraton hotel coverted to Clarion, they definately have not kept up since that change, the place is run down, smells musty and still has 1980's decor. It definately needs an update. We could not wait to check out the next day. ...

The location close to Cornell was fine, with shuttle service so we did not need to rent a car. The friendliness of the front desk staff to accommodate our needs was marvelous.
The smiles and greetings of the front desk personnel made us feel very welcome and cared for.
