we did not even take a shower ,it was so nasty.the walls and a lamp look like they had vomit on them.the sheets and pillow cases were covered in hair.the carpet was filthy.the noise from the (club clarion)went on till one in the morning.the club clarion as the staff called it was a party around the pool with a dj and about a hundred people dancing and drinking to music so loud it was shaking our bed on the second floor.when we called the front desk they said (the club)would close at 1:00 a. m. .it was the worst hotel ever.we had to go to the front desk 3 times trying to get clean sheets to replace the hairy ones, they kept giving us the wrong size.the next morning we went down to breakfast at 7:30 and were told it would be at least another hour before they started serving.signs inth lobby stated 7:00

It would be difficult to pick just one area to complain about this hotel. It was the worst experience of any hotel I have ever stayed at, and I cannot believe it is a Choice Hotel property. I bragged that at least all Choice Hotels are clean. Not anymore. BTW, we were there to see Annie at the theater in Jackson. The cast was staying there, too, and EVERYONE was talking about how awful this hotel was. The staff was surly and rude. The free breakfast had to be free; it sure wasn't worth paying for. We were supposed to get a nonsmoking room and were put in a smoking room - after having to change from another room. Everything smelled. The hallways reeked. There were what looked like blood stains on the ceiling. The carpet was nasty. Only three channels on the television. Nothing worked, the ice machines, the elevators, etc. The towels were so thin you could have dried off with paper towels. I thought I was in a rent-by-the hour hotel. It was the worst. I have to say I will check out any other Choice property before I stay there again, because this proves that sometime name is not everything.

We liked staying at the hotel and everything went as well I thought it would. We do not have any dislikes about the hotel and the staff, because they were all very helpful.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Clarion Hotel & Suites North.
I might recommend it to friends.
I recently stayed at this hotel for a week. The rooms are not all the same and dont expect to get any amenities listed without a fight. We were there for a convention and it was awful! I have never seen so many refined older people so visibly upset with there surroundings. I personally was scared to take a shower because there was mold everywhere. I couldn't even walk around bare foot for fear something would get me. I went to the area Wal-mart and got a set of sheets and slept on top of there bedding because there was mold on the blankets. I will say that the staff was nice and very apologetic. Had it not been for them I would have left the convention early. The management team is helpless and oblivious to the crappy service they are providing while the supervisors have admittedly trained there staff in the art of serving. The supervisors and teem leads were almost embarrassed that there were so many issues. The hotel was understaffed and showed no signs of wanting to correct the problem. I did enjoy the chef's menu daily. She was an excellent cook more like a diamond in the rough at that place. So is you ever find yourself there eat the food but don't stay on property. If I had my say I would move the house keeping staff, kitchen staff and a couple of the supervisors to a better hotel and stay there.

Not a Good Idea.. Nasty, Nasty rooms. No cleanliness whatsoever. I caught a chest cold because of the dust. Water temperature was not constant. From scalding to ice. Bed was very small. Toilet dirty. Breakfast was horrible.

I stayed here in January 2007 and had a great experience.
The staff is great, the food is exceptional, and at a good price. The hotel has just been renovated and the beds are great. I would recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel.
