Rooms were not to bad, activities in hotel would be great a bar would also be nice.. not much to do at hotel but shopping was in walking distance.. Some updates would be a great inprovement. Hotel also had washer and drive which was very nice.
54 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The beds were very uncomfortable. The security door lock was broken and it was broken our entire stay even though I pointed the problem out to the staff. They bumped up the room rates because of a bowl game and they did not drop the rates after the game had been played.
I am not likely
to return to the Clarion Hotel Shreveport.
I would not recommend it to friends.

This hotel seems like an older one that has been partially renovated. Lobby and hallways were newer, but room renovation is just getting started. Our room was great - no maintenance issues at all. Shower and bedding were great. High-speed internet / Wireless in lobby, plus free Fax service were appreciated along with the superb friendliness and service by all staff. Would definitely stay here again, even if the rooms aren't all new yet. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, highways is a big plus, too.
