The neighborhood was not very nice, I was afraid to talk to the light rail station anytime the sun wasnt high in the sky. I left my ipod in the armoire when I checked out, went back a few hours later and it was gone. General manager told me that none of their people steal because they track these things and if they get like 19 complaints they'll fire that person - my response was "what if I'm complaint number 2?"
Rooms were all facing outside, not very secure and you could see light all the way around the doors. I'd definately recommend cramming a chair in front of it at night. there was a flimsy looking chain that I think was put in when the hotel was build about 50 years ago. Overall furnishings were shabby but the bed was comfortable.
