this hotel is ITTY BITTY!!! The elevator is the size of a closet... the hall way is VERY narrow, and the room just big enough to have a bed in it! You'll feel like a giant in this oh so mini hotel... but I liked it haha GREAT location :)

Very good hotel. The best thing this place has going for it is the location. It's situated conveniently next to two subway stations, however for those like me who prefer to walk everywhere, the hotel is within walking distance to all major sites. Times Square is just 10 minutes away, MSG and Javits 15 minutes away, Central Park 20 minutes away, Ground Zero 1 hour away and Empire State Building...well that's right at the front door. Every room has a cable television with 20 or so channels and free internet is advertised for business travelers.
The hotel is very narrow and the rooms are small yet adequate, but who goes to the city that never sleeps just to stay in their hotel room? The bathroom has everything you need and all rooms are en-suite. The free continental breakfast and also the free newspaper are both nice amenities and the staff are very helpful. The porter helped me sort out a phone card that would offer me a cheap price to call abroad as the on-site machine was out of order.
I stayed at this hotel as I was attending Toy Fair at the Javits and at the Toy Center as well as having a much needed holiday, and the hotel catered for my needs both as a tourist and as a businessman.
Would recommend and have already booked for my next visit.
I am
very likely
to return to the Clarion Hotel Park Avenue.
I
would definitely recommend it to
friends.

Hotel Review

The price for midtown Manhattan was excellent, but the heating in the room was way too hot and we could not figure out how to turn it down and the room was really small. Everything in the hotel was small, the elevator was extremely small, it was hard to get our bags and ourselves into the elevator and the hotel hallways were very narrow.
This hotel made me feel welcome: The staff was extremely helpful in all ways. They were very efficient with our baggage and very helpful in arranging transportation for us to the airport.
I am
somewhat likely
to return to the Clarion Hotel Park Avenue.
I
might recommend it to
friends.

This hotel's rooms were literally down a hill, this meant that everything had to be carried back up the hill when leaving. The bathroom had mold all over, the headboard fell off the wall, and the A/C unit was broken. The manager's response to our concerns was "Too bad". This hotel charge $217.00 US per night.
I am
not likely
to return to the Clarion Hotel Park Avenue.
I
would not recommend it to
friends.
