Stayed there for 2 nights in Feb. 2009 to see the school. Service was polite and efficient. Hotel is old but well cared for. Room was spacious. Plan to stay there again when he attends the university. Didn't have a car so I can't comment on...

My son's roommate's family stays here every trip they take to Morgantown, so they must do something right. They say it is clean and quaint. They recommend.
50 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We have stayed at the beautiful historic Hotel Morgan several times and always found the accommodations to be wonderful and high class....It is in the heart of downtown Morgantown...home of the WVU Mountaineers. We have always found the staff and management to be very courteous and professional..but with a family feeling! I highly recommend this hotel for all your needs while visiting Morgantown,WV....It is kept to the standard of a historical hotel, beautiful...the most beautiful ball room I have ever seen. It is especially beautiful at Christmas time, with elaborate decorations and atmosphere. I think the Hotel Morgan is under the direction of the best management team they have ever had.

My family has stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 time in the past two years since my daughter became a student at WVU. We love the location since it was close to her dorm freshman year and close to her sorority house sophomore year. We like the quiet...
40 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
The hotel was a very classic old style hotel, well taken care of and well managed. The rooms were not great, very basic and they lacked amenities. The restaurant and the bar were terrific. Room service for all meals would have been nice.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Clarion Hotel Morgan.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Okay
The downtown area where this hotel is located does not feel safe, had to park car across the street in a parking lot, and walk down an alley to get back to hotel. Do not recommend, even though room was ok. I hope my car is still there, or has not...
