Great hotel very close to downtown. This hotel was just extensively renovated last year so the rooms are new and nice. Also, the only hotel I found near downtown with free parking (usually $30 downtown)

It was my displeasure to stay at the Quality Inn in LA last week. The "hotel"
was run down, dirty, phones did not work, air conditioning did not work, all lamps did not have bulbs that worked, the faucet in the bath tub would not shut off. It ran a stream bigger than a pencil. They attempted to fix it at the end of our 2nd day......it was a bit better, but still running. The repairman was very nice. If we had not prepaid for the rooms, we would have left immediately. The picture and write-up of this property paint a great story. But, what's behind the door is scary. Bottom line....they are remodling but most rooms are not yet complete. The air conditioning, phones, and even lights do not work in some. I transfered 3 times to find a room and finally settled for one without a working phone. The construction materials are all throughout the hallways. The pool is functional but landscaping does not exist. The lobby is the only acceptable portion of this property. Somewhat better rooms were available but I was left with the feeling that if you booked using an on-line process, and had a better $rate, these rooms were not available to you!

Horrible
This place is nasty and filthy. Their photos are all lies. Bugs, dirty, stench, raggedy, old and beat-down, perfect for prostitution business, dark, dingy, low customer care!!!! If there was a Negative 10 rating, I would sock it to them.
