Well-kept. Clarion hotel chains typically are pretty solid in terms of quality. Unfortunately, I would guess this one was refurbished from an older building or had been around a while. I am used to receiving more options in a Holiday Inn Express...

Mediocre
Granted the only reason we stayed @ this hotel was because it was the only one available within the time we needed. We were worried about staying there due to a few other reviews listed but we had no choice.

I didn't like anything about this hotel.The rooms smelled like strongly watermelon jolly ranchers. The beds were uncomfortable. The walls were thin& This hotel should really be called a motel. A good portion of the rooms are in a motel style annex...

Close to university of south Carolina. Near restaurants.Rooms are old, dated. Tiles cracked. Bed spreads dirty. Too expensive for what is provided. Very dated. 70's style. Typical college town, low end hotel. Expected more upscale.
