The Clarion Hotel and Conference Center

Good
The Clarion Hotel and Conference Center is a top notch establishment. The accommodations are very nice and they provide nicely for conference or just small meetings. The food is always exceptional and the service the same.

It was generally ok place to stay. The maintenance is sketchy. There was no face plate on a low placed electrical outlet in a room rented to a couple with a toddler. One would hope that the new owners give maintenance a more serious backing.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center.
I might recommend it to friends.

What a Wonderful Experience!. I had my neice's wedding reception at this hotel and what a wonderful experience we had!! Banquet was beautifully decorated and the food was perfect. The staff was great from the front desk to our Sales Manager! We had 15 rooms at the hotel for friends and family, they were a great value, clean rooms and we were all together on the same floor! The free breakfast was fantastic in the restuarant and we had a great rehearsal dinner in the restuarant! Prices were great and we will stay there again next time we visit the area! Their renovations really show and I was told they had done ALOT of work in the last two years!
I am very likely
to return to the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
52 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The Clarion needs to put some money into this hotel and do some room upgrading. The room was clean, but the mattresses were very old and broken down, and the linens (bedspread) was old. Overall, the hotel was clean. I know the property must date back to the mid-70's or more. Air conditioner was pretty darn bad and noisy.

The pool room was beautiful. The continental breakfast was very skimpy and as a diabetic, there was nothing I could eat as everything was starch. The employee in charge of the breakfast allowed children with bare feet in the food area. The bedspring and the mattress were very old and fairly broken down. My husband needed to use the business center, the sign said it was open twenty four hours, but because it was New Year's Eve the front desk attendant refused to open the center. The hotel was nicely decorated, but the staff we encountered during our stay seemed very indifferent except for the desk clerk who checked us out when we left, she was pleasant and friendly. The hotel was easy to get to, but obviously old. It could use an upgrade.
I am very likely
to return to the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center.
I might recommend it to friends.
