Clarion Hotel Bristol

This hotel is seemingly all by itself but near the businesses I needed to visit. I made a mistake on my arrival date (one day too early) and I had been charged as a no-show for the night but the manager waived the charge, which was great. It was an OK hotel, good value for the money, I'd say. The restaurant wasn't very good--not nearly as good as the marketing of it would suggest and it was very cold! As far as my room, the wireless access was free and easy. My hairdryer may an awful racket, though! I'd probably stay there again.

After attempting to sleep at the Howard Johnson's in Southington (worst, most disgusting place I've ever seen), this place was a palace. It was like going from a trailer to a chateau in the Swiss Alps. It was clean, comfortable, and with my AAA discount, a great deal. The only thing I would recommend is, if you're staying past 9 am, be sure to put a Do Not Disturb sign on the door as the housekeeping will keep bugging you to clean the room if you don't. Great place!

I truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. I have been to this location before. I love the lounge and think the location is perfect for my needs. The staff is not as friendly as they used to be but they still do a great job.

The location was convenient, the traffic was not too congested, the hotel restaurant had good service and food and there were internet computers available for the guests. Also there was wireless internet available in the hotel. The restaurants in town were close by and the hotel was quiet. I didn't have time for the use of the pool but it looks like it was a nice pool.

This hotel made me feel important: The front desk people always told me of small things that were going on around the hotel. One of the front desk men remembered me from an earlier visit which was a nice thing.

The hotel appears decent but upon closer look it is beginning to get run down. The hotel bar service is not the best.
