64 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
It's convenient to the NY Thruway, but away from highway noise and truck-stop atmosphere, and yet close to a large selection of restaurants and shops.
It's a somewhat older motel, but it's comfortable and clean.
I think that because it's one (short) Thruway stop from the conglomerate of chain motels, it's more off the beaten track. So it seems not to get the noisy check-ins at odd hours. It's just right for an old geezer like me who values quiet after a long drive.
I am very likely to return to the Clarion Hotel Blasdell.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
