Clarion Hotel Alexandria

Great Location and Friendly service.

It was filthy. There was hair on the back of the bathroom door and urine stains on the bed spread. It smelled something awlful and we found a dirty diaper behind the dresser. The carpet was so dark that you could not see what was causing the horrible smell.

This place states "wireless internet access". Don't be fooled. You'll be stuck in the dark, dreary lobby all night! That's the only place it works. My personal safety is a concern also. I don't feel safe here.

The carpets in my room looked extremely worn and the room looked dark and depressing. I wouldn't stay here again if they gave me a free room.

My company sent me here on a business trip, I guess they were trying to save some money. When I arrived, I walked up to the front desk and the first thing I noticed was there was nobody there. I must have waited in the lobby for at least 25 minutes before finally someone came out and asked me what I needed. When I told them my name, the lady behind the desk smiled and told me I wasn't in their system. I asked her to look again because there had to be some mistake, when I finally decided to speak with a manager she said that she was the manager and I would either need to book a new room at a higher rate or leave.

I will never come to Louisiana again and I will never stay at a Clarion hotel again, stay away at all costs!

It was easy to find from airport. The service was good. My room was clean. The service personnel were friendly and helpful.
