Clarion Collection Solita Soho Hotel

This hotel provides a comfortable, clean place to stay. The rooms are tiny and you need to leave the hotel for any amenities, like food or drink. I could hear noise from the hall and outside, during both of my visits. Location is good. It seems overpriced for what it offers, even by New York standards.

It is a nice location right by Soho, Chinatown, and Little Italy. It has a friendly staff and is a pleasant, small hotel so you have better service. The rooms are a bit tiny and there is not a lot of walking room or storage space for clothing or luggage, however.

This hotel made me feel secure: There was staff available at the front desk twenty-four hours and they seemed to know all their guests entering and exiting at all times. We also kept our room doors locked at all times.

I have just booked in for my third stay this year at the Solita. Yes, the rooms are small, but very comfortable and well appointed. The location is great, as SoHo and Canal Street are right on the doorstep, and there are at least 2 subway lines in easy walking distance. As a frequent business traveller, I appreciate the free high speed internet connection, and also the friendly desk staff.
