The hotel looked like a dream on approach. The lobby was nice as well as the restaurant, however when the elevator doors opened it was a different story. The elevators were dirty and in disrepair. Oor room smelled terrible and only got worse. The bathroom ceiling was patched and cracked, the mirror was tilted out of it's frame, the tub did not drain and was rusty and the worst was what appeared to be blood on the ceiling.

We had a very pleasant experience at the Garden District Hotel. The rooms were very large with all new bedding and linens. The lobby is lovely and they have a 4 star restaurant in the lobby. The best part was the rate. We found it to be the best ...

The wallpaper was falling off the walls. I had to park three blocks away in an unsafe area. The carpet was bad, the shower tub filled up, and there was a 10 minute wait for the elevator. They had a good new bed and good toiletries, but that was it!
