We just called Sam's club travel club to get a motel in Carmel by the Sea and they gave us the Clarion. It looks just like an ordinary motel, but we were pleasantly surprised. I was just a motel room, but with upscale furniture and bedding. The bed was luxurious and in the morning, there was a breakfast basket at our door. The price was excellent for the area. I would definitely stay here again!
