The stay was great. The bartender was awesome, so was the front desk staff.

This hotel made me feel excited: The bartender did not mind us causing a stir while we pre gamed for the Alabama versus Tennessee football game. It really got me excited about the game.

The valet service was exceptional and the staff was all very friendly and helpful. The only complaint I had was that the only choice for breakfast was a buffet and I would have rather had a choice.

This is a nice, family oriented hotel.

The location was great. The staff of the valet parking was great. But the room was not all that clean or comfortable. The ice machines and vending machines were difficult to use.

The staff was not very friendly. The service we had requested and been told we would receive for our meeting was not carried out by the hotel. We were in an all-day meeting with beverages to be provided, yet after 9 hours, the staff only came in to restock our beverage center and only then after our representative went to the desk (after numerous phone calls to the desk) and demanded the service we were promised.

Breakfast choices were very limited. The dining room was not open for lunch or dinner, possibly due to being off-season. Otherwise, all was most satisfactory. Plus, the downtown location made most attractions available within easy walking distance.

The location was good as I was rowing in a regatta at the waterfront. However, I found the cleanliness (particularly the bathroom) to be inadequate.

The room was full of ants and the staff did nothing. They did not offer to move us to another room, or offer anything as a peace offering (percentage off, free visit, breakfast -- nothing). Also, the secure parking lot left much to be desired. We were followed in by a guest; we reported it to the security guard (who was not doing his job) who, when given the make, model, and plate number of the car, claimed he was unable to find it.

The staff was very unfriendly and unaccommodating to our meeting needs. We were in meetings there for three days and never received a visit from any of the staff to check on our refreshments, refill our water or anything until after 9: PM on the second day when the majority of the attendees had already been dismissed. Our organization will probably not use Clarion again for our purposes. We hold one of the 3 top attended events in Chattanooga each year and had just switched to Clarion as our headquarters hotel. The hotel manager did not even know who we were when we booked our annual meeting there 6 days after our event that drew over 7 people to the city and sold out their hotel.

The bathroom had mildew behind peeling wall paper.

I would definitely go back to that hotel when in the Chattanooga area again. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel made me feel respected: Everyone at the front desk was very kind and helpful. It was my first time in Tennessee and they had many helpful hints and places to see, plus they gave me great directions to the places I wanted to see. They did not talk down to me or make me feel stupid.

This hotel made me feel respected: They gave a hearty welcome to each World War 2 veteran.

There was water/steam damage on the ceiling of bathroom.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The rooms were tastefully decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was well-trained and very thoughtful.
