It was OK for the price. Room (#18) was a good sized and clean; some of friendly staff speak English. Hotel has a descent free Ethernet connection. I found the TV a little small, remote control not working all the time, but then again, didn't watch much TV. Room has economy fridge, microwave and stove.
It's a good 25min+ walk to center Aix and the nearest restaurant (other than Kyriad hotel next door).
Didn't care much for the tub with a shower head that you have to hold to shower; why can't there be a mount higher up? Found that very annoying every morning.
Basic breakfast is available for a fee.
Coin operated laundromat does not have any vending machines to buy detergent...make sure to pack it in your luggage? Bit silly.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Citea again, but would prefer something closer to town. My visit happened to be during Rugby semis, so not much vacancy in the Aix area. If you plan to drive to town, I recommend the hotel.
