48 year old with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I was in the "newer" Skytower, but the room was still well worn. My only problem was with the elevators. In the mornings, when people are checking out, they would packed with people and you may have to wait for 4 or 5 or simply jam in. Taking the stairs worked out better for going down.
They offer a Skytram from the main hotel area to the Skytower, but it's not a very interesting ride and you could walk in about 90 seconds so it's not really worth waiting for.
