Horrible
65 year old with a moderate budget

The staff was friendly...other than that....the room was horrible. There was holes in the wall, the lock of the window was broken, the bathroom door didn't lock, it smelled like sweat, the beds didn't even include warm sheets for cold weather. There was no hot water and it didn't look like anyone came in to clean it out.........IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!

I am not likely to return to the Cinderella Motel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Horrible
with a budget, traveling for business

If there was a rating lower than one I would use it. This place looks nice from the outside but the staff is rude and incompetent. It is way over priced for the accommodations and the rooms are very noisy from the street traffic. Don't waste your money.

I am not likely to return to the Cinderella Motel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

They lost my reservation – Posted Oct 07, 2007

Horrible
50 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I made my reservations by phone 4 weeks ago and told the woman (a heavy Baltic accent) that I would be arriving around 9 or 9:30 p.m. since my flight was getting in late and I'd be driving down to Hollister from San Jose. I was assured that everything would be fine, so I just left it at that.

Silly me! As you may already have predicted, I arrived within my expected timeframe, and walked in the door. "I have a reservation," I told the woman as I approached the counter.

"No, you don't," the woman countered harshly. "You lost your reservation at 6 p.m. and we're sold out."

You can imagine how I felt about losing my reservation that I had carefully made a month prior. Here I was, stranded in the little town of Hollister, at 9 p.m. without a place to stay. How could I possibly recommend this place when they treat customers/guests like that? Ridiculous way to run a business.

I give the Cinderella Motel a 9. It is a piece of Americana.

The rooms are adequate and the staff friendly.

You can get coffee in the front lobby in the morning. Your just a 2 minute walk from Taco Bell and the Liquor store.

There's NOTHING like a 5 hour ride from our house to the Cinderella Motel, and then get your favorite Magazine/Cold Beverage.

Then you head to Tack Bell and an EASY walk, back to your room.

Rest your tired butt and pig out!

The pool is clean and there's a restaurant across the street for a

"Greasy Spoon" Breakfast/Lunch or Dinner!

When we go to Hollister to the "Corbin Motorcycle Factory" there is only ONE place to stay in all of Hollister....and that's

the Cinderella Motel!

Okay
28 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The air conditioning units do not cool down the rooms at all. You have to stand in front of them to feel anything. The bathroom fan is very loud. You have to have the light switched on to watch TV.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Cinderella Motel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

We loved the theme room idea. We had no problems here, the owner was nice and held a room for us until we got there. It was a wonderful time with nice people.

What a find! This is no cookie-cutter Mo 6. Every room is distintively and creatively decorated. Very Fun. My wife and I stayed in the "Jungle Room." This was no lame decor with giraffe wallpaper - rather cool folk art appointments and furnishings - some I'm sure hand made in Africa. Quiet and clean.

I am very likely to return to the Cinderella Motel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
