55 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed in one of the new condos at Chula Vista Resort shortly after the condos opened in July 2006. The condos were very nice...large rooms decorated tastefully. The only negative was the lighting, which was poor in most of the rooms. Chula Vista's new indoor water park was also having their grand opening when we were there. They offered great rides and the whole family had a great time!

This hotel should be a five star hotel. Here was my vacation in the wonderful Chula Vista Resort. I started off my vacation getting lost, due to my inabilities to navigate and my 5 year old son not quite being able to read a map. I called the resort where a very helpful employee easily guided my way through the Dells. I got to the resort and was extremely impressed. The front desk employees were friendly and extremely helpful. I was directed to my hotel room, which was in the "South Tower". After a long drive with a five year old, the beds were very inviting.
After flopping on the bed and sleeping for about an hour we were ready for the waterparks. We decided to check out the larger indoor waterpark. At first, I was a little leery, because I wasn't sure if the big waterpark was suitable for my son. However, my doubts soon vanished once I saw all the fun/kids-oriented activities. They have a lazy river for me and most importantly plenty of things to keep my son busy. After being water-logged, we went to Crash Landing (a little fast-food type of restaurant in the big indoor water park). The food was delicious and the service was very nice and polite. The next day we decided to try out the Mesa Grille for breakfast and the food there was scrumptious! I couldn't have asked for anything better than eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes! It was wonderful.
Then, we played mini golf, which was such a blast for both my son and I. After mini golf we went to the outdoor pool and enjoyed the sun. They had kids activities, but only on the weekends. We had fun coloring little masks and totem poles. After that we went to the Fab 50's show, which I wasn't sure if my son would enjoy, but was pleasantly surprised when he started bouncing along. Our stay was so wonderful. I have stayed in other hotels in the Wisconsin Dells area such as the Kalahari, the Wilderness, the Polynesian, and not one comes close to the amazing service and beautiful hotel as the Chula Vista Resort.

Okay
All Review Photos Chula Vista Resort is a huge resort that also has a huge restaurant (currently home to my family Easter and Christmas dinners - my Grandma doesn't cook anymore and everyone else burns things).
