At the Road King Inn Columbia Mall, we offer our guests luxury for less. We provide clean, comfortable rooms along with professional staff and are located near restaurants, shopping malls, Engelstad Arena,UND and the Alerus Center. The staff at the front desk can be reached 24 hours a day and can help you plan your trip before you arrive.

The customer service at this hotel is absolutely unacceptable. They are very unprofessional and rude at the front desk. The staff is also very unaccomodating for groups of people, and we were treated horribly. We were also awoken at 4:30am by fire alarms that were not turned off for a very long time, and continued to go off randomly for the next 2 hours. We had lukewarm-cold showers one of the mornings. The cleanliness of the hotel was less than desireable in the main areas as well as the rooms.
The pool area was also not very clean and the hottubs were not working properly.
There are much nicer and friendlier hotels in Grand Forks to stay at than this one!!

Well i just would like to mention the pool area is quite excellent. I was not able to get wireless in the room I was in room but it might have just bin my laptop. But i suggest to get the proper internet cords so as to be able to directly connect! But the continental breakfest was quite plesent its a self serve type of service you can make your own waffles. Its a very nice over all. It is in a good location if you want to go to the mall of america or any other mall. if you go to the road king in u must check out the Golden Coral resturent it is an all you can eat smorg and or buffet all the food is prepered right infront of you.

Had some issues with the hotel and the staff did nothing to try to correct the problem, if anything they wanted nothing to do with the problems or trying to take care of our concerns.
