I will be honest; there were some hassles with this hotel. We had trouble with one of our two room reservations not being on the books. I spent almost two hours clearing that up. Then they only had one weird old-fashioned key per room, which was a little annoying with five people.
However, my overall take on this hotel was positive. The location for the price is great. The L stops only a few blocks away, and you have lots of amenities like Chinese restaurants, bakeries, Walgreen's, etc., practically next door. The rooms aren't fancy, but I'd say they're fairly good for budget accommodations.
I would recommend the Chinatown hotel, but make sure to double check with the hotel that your reservation is correct, especially if you book through a third-party website.
