Location and pool.Thin walls. The rooms were clean. The water was not easy to regulate when taking a shower. Would go from cold to extremely hot. The walls are very thin. You can hear almost everything going on in the room next to you or behind....
Very reasonable. Terrific location to access all the surrounding areas. Stay three nights and get a free pass to the park. Nice rooms. Not fancy but clean and affordable. What more could you ask.

It is very clean and comfortable, with a friendly staff and a nice pool. It has a central location to Black Hills attractions. I would recommend it to others.

This motel had comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and very clean water in the pool and spa.

The Chief Motel has become our tradition. Our family gathers there from all over the country to make the walk up Crazy Horse in June. We can pack into the rooms, sing, laugh, and listen to our Dad (who will be 90 this year) play the accordion....
