Far from the best Marriott, but very adequate. Contrary to other reviews, I find the front desk staff, in particalar, to be very gracious and helpful. Excellent fitness center, guest rooms are on the small side but comfortable. TV's have a lot of
I have been coming to the Schaumburg Marriott since 1986. The rooms are most comfortable , the beds are heavenly. However, the front desk staff is rude and clueless. I always pay cash when I check in as to not incur any credit card debt. When I do...

This was a very comfortable and clean room. The employees are very friendly, and were helpful in providing directions to a superior pizzaria.
The only downside to this place is the bar charged extremely high prices. My wife and I stopped in for a nightcap, and ordered two white russians. The bartender made them, and then told me it would be $22.84. I was knocked back. I could not believe they were charging over $11 apiece for a mixed drink. And it wasn't a double. You definitely don't want to run a tab here, if you are not prepared to pay through the nose.
Beds were uncomfortable. They dipped in the middle, were really soft, and even my six year old tossed and turned all night. Get some new mattresses. Our friends room also had well over used beds.

We were there for a wedding which was held in the tent. The tent was very lovely, beautifully decorated. There were two problems, the room was either too cold, then when the heat kicked in, too warm, and there was no restroom on the same level as the tent. We had to go back up the outdoor stairs to the main building. It was May and the day was warm but the evening got quite chilly. The breakfast buffet on Sunday was okay; the potatoes were cold and hard as was the scrambled eggs. But the made-to-order omelet was wonderful!
The price was reasonable, and probably tied to the wedding reception, a special rate, so I felt rich, staying reasonably in a beautiful clean hotel and still having money left for breakfast the next day.
I am very likely
to return to the Chicago Marriott Schaumburg.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel was excellent. The only flaw was the volume control on the TV that worked inconsistently. It had a great location, it was very comfortable and clean. It is the best value in the neighborhood.
I liked the very nice bed and desk work area.
