The location is very convenient. You can walk to Navy Pier and the Michigan Avenue shop. There are lots of good restaurants in the area.

The hotel is located downtown only steps away from all the great features the city has to offer, restaurants, theaters, parks, shopping, river cruises and anything your heart desires. The staff is well informed and professional.

This hotel made me feel welcome: We were greeted and the staff knew why we were there and they were very helpful in helping is find all places of interest as well as to the correct meeting rooms.

My boss had chosen this hotel for myself and two other coworkers while we were in Chicago at a conference. She picked the hotel based on the beautifully deceiving pictures on the internet web site for the hotel. We were all very excited to be staying in such a nice place, until we arrived and saw our rooms. They were old and the decor was very out of date. There were only 2 double beds, and unless you plan on cuddling with someone, a double bed is not good sleeping space for 2 people. We requested a cot, but they refused to give us a cot stating that it violated fire code. Needless to say we all got VERY comfortable with each other and did not sleep very well.

The house keeping service was terrible. They neglected to take away our garbage 3 out of the 5 days we were there and did not tidy the room at all. I can at least give them credit by saying that they made the beds every day.

I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel unless you are looking for a convenient location and only that.

This hotel is located right downtown in the middle of it all. It is a huge hotel but manages to keep its small inn demeanor. The staff is very hospitable from the valet to the bellman to the concierge all are friendly. Pick this one if you love to sample new restaurants, there are countless great restaurants in historic downtown within walking distance. Oh and try to twist someones arm to get a room on one of the top floors for a wonderful view.
