It had good location and it was extremely nice and comfortable. The inside was all wood, even the elevator doors and the cleaner they used smelt wonderful. There was even a fireplace and a stuffed bear. They will book a taxi for you if you need it.

I am not likely to return to the Cheshire Inn and Lodge.
I might recommend it to friends.

The hotel is fantastic. The ambience was quaint. My children loved the Tudor hunting lodge style of decorations, especially the fake gas lamps and the huge stuffed bear. The location across the street from Forest Park was extremely handy, although we had trouble finding it at first. All the employees were friendly and helpful. There were only two things we were not as happy with. One was that they were remodeling or selling the restaurant, so there was not one on-site, although they did have a pretty good continental breakfast in the cute little sunroom next to the lobby. Second, even though it is officially an indoor pool, it is really more like an outdoor pool that has been enclosed. It was a bit too cold to enjoy it during our spring break stay. We will definitely stay there the next time we are going through St. Louis!

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The Tudor style of decorating gave it a warm feeling that made us feel like we were in a different era. Our room was comfortable, pretty much what you would expect from a good hotel.

I am very likely to return to the Cheshire Inn and Lodge.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Nice atmosphere in hotel lobby and restaurant, but the room was cheap, ugly, uncomfortable, and far overpriced. My view was through one tiny window to the roof of the building. There were NO amenities! Bathroom was a closet. I could have had a better room at a Motel 6 and this was labeled as a 3-star hotel!

I am not likely to return to the Cheshire Inn and Lodge.
