The Chesapeake has 65 spacious units. Oceanfront guest rooms and suites have spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. Individually appointed villas with fully equipped kitchens, range from single room efficiencies to one and two bedroom units. Garden view motel units with screened porches overlook the tennis court. PLEASE NOTE: There is a resort fee of $20.07 (including applicable tax) per night, per room that is payable directly to property.

All in all, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We had a garden view room and played tennis every morning after breakfast. The restaurant next door, Whale Harbor I think, was convenient and decently priced. I highly recommend Chesapeake for a relaxing vacation.

I stayed at Chesapeake a few years back and then again a couple weeks ago and the renovations they made are amazing. The room I stayed in had new furniture, it was spotless, and it had fresh linens on the bed. I was pleased with the resort last time I stayed, but these new renovations were the icing on the cake.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a short vacation and it was great. He caught one of the fishing charters and fished all day while I hung out by the pool. There are also a few nice spots just a short walk from the resort where you can grab dinner. Definitely a place where you can relax and have fun.

Chesapeake Beach is appropriately priced. Clean, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Awesome beach and pools. Whale Harbor next door is a great place for dinner and catching a fishing charter.

The hotel is clean, maintained and cozy. The view from the balcony overlooked the ocean, and it was breath taking. I look forward to returning to this hotel again. The wait staff is very polite and willing to work with you on any issue.
