It is a charming small bed and breakfast type hotel. It has a great location and a friendly staff.

This hotel made me feel elegant: I received a friendly greeting at check in.

The room was fine except for the fact that there was no work desk for my computer and i had to rearrange the room, move the bed to get to a wall plug, and turn the nightstand into a desk. The problem was that i had two suitcases and a very heavy triple sized briefcase for 30 pounds of paper, and had to lug them all up five flights of stairs without any help. You won't find any reference to the fact that the hotel does not have an elevator, and the entrance is below street level.

And of course since my travel plans changed, I had to pay for every night I had reserved even though I had to leave early.

If you know your travel plans will not change, have a small backpack for luggage, and get a room in the cellar or the first floor, and can put up with insufferable snobs for staff, this is the place for you.
