My husband and I have stayed at this hotel 3 times. Once we stayed with my teenagers. I loved the rooms especially then because they are so large. We ask for a cot for one kid and we had plenty of room for suitcases and the beds. We never felt...
1 nite 135 dollars, no fridge, no microwave, noisy streets! not worth ur money my mom wasted her money so i'm paying her back cuz this was my choice they're bitching about this place and i feel bad! if u come here u'll definitely regret...
Hotel staff was efficient and nice; rooms were very clean. The problem is the bar across the street on Fillmore (behind the Kentucky Fried Chicken/Taco Bell fastfood. The patrons of the bar partied outside (loud music, yelling to each other,...

Excellent
We discovered The Chelsea thru the AAA and liked the free parking and the rate. What we discovered was a FANTASTIC location and a very well run, clean, roomy accomodation. I am a former Pan Am flight attendant and love San Fran. and love to travel....
The best rooms on Lombard, Incredible prices too!

Excellent
We could not believe it could get better, but it did! We have stayed here before, found the place when hunting for a cheap room. It was such a great price, we stopped looking (after going around the neighborhood and seeing 5 other places!)

Good
Checked into this hotel on the corner of Lombard and Fillmore. Good price for rooms that are at least 3.5 star quality. Marble bathrooms and very clean fixtures. Parking is subterranean. Staff is professional and knows the area. Rooms have deadbolts ...
I've been staying here since it opened around 20 years ago. Good location - easy walk to Union Street and Marina area. Noisy on weekends due to Union Street crowds but great on weekdays.
This hotel was awesome, it had great location, and the rooms were wicked. Nice and roomy, they had a coach and table and great beds. I would definatly stay there...
In most ways it was a bargain. It was convenient, pretty clean, large, staff was helpful, parking was free, price was good. Only bad thing was the noise. Traffic noise all night and noise from the bar across the street until 1:30 am.
