48 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The staff was friendly and helpful. They had nice clean rooms, and lots of amenities. They also have a nice little breakfast nook. And it's right in the heart of Chelsea on the subway lines going in four directions.
The only downside: Lots of stairs.

36 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I stayed there just before the 4th of July and I was glad I booked online in advance as the hostel was full this night.
If you don't mind the dorm sleeping, it's the best bang for the bucks in New York.
I am
very likely
to return to the Chelsea Inn.
