Horrible
My family and I recently stayed at the Marriott Chattanooga Convention Center hotel and had a horrible experience. Upon arrival we were told that the rooms were not clean, so we stored our luggage and went to dinner. When we came back we were told ...

Mediocre
Planned an impromptu trip to Chattanooga for the weekend and the Marriott was one of the only places with a vacancy...now we know why. The room's AC did not properly cool the room, the bathroom shower was less than clean (mold), the television...

Okay
To go to itty-bitty ole Chattanooga, staying at the Marriot for that price was just a bit too much, but I felt I had few options. The bed was great and I could have stayed in it all night, but I could have done better with a cleaner room if I was...
57 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This was a very beautiful hotel and we enjoyed our stay there. I would go back to this hotel if the need arose. There was not to much to do within walking distance but Chattanooga has a trolley and bus system that can take you to many places.
They were very professional and everyone was willing to help whenever we needed help. They had a great gift shop.
I am very likely
to return to the Chattanooga Marriott at the Convention Center.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
56 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I was staying at the Marriot for our state convention. We have used this hotel for our state convention for several years, when we are in Chattanooga.
My reservation was incorrect. It was not confirmed at the time I checked in. I did not receive a bill in my room the day the hotel forced me to checkout. While I was attending meetings Friday morning my room was re-keyed with all my personal items still locked inside. When I attempted to get my room key re-keyed, twice, I was not told the reservation they held had me checking out that day.
The convention ran through Saturday. I explained that there was a mistake on their behalf. I had made my reservation by phone and did not have a paper confirmation. After a lengthy discussion with the night manager, who talked to me as if I were a child. I asked her to fix the problem by extending my stay. She informed me that the hotel was fully booked. I asked if a suite was available but she hesitated and said none were available. Bottom line is they wanted my room to sell at a higher rate because I was getting a convention rate. This happened to at least three other of our convention attendees.
Our management team discovered that the hotel had overbooked themselves that weekend. I was most upset that they had locked my personal belongings in the room and I had to be escorted to the room by the manager. I had, up until this event, been pleased with the Marriot Hotels but I will not be returning in the near or distant future!
