When I visited Montreal (for 2 nights) last September, I had a great experience during my stay at the Chateau Royal. When I first walked in the hotel, the lobby/decor was below average compared to other hotels I've stayed in Montreal. However, on the upside, the hotel staff were one of the best! Everyone was friendly and treated me very well. The hotel rooms were also pretty big too. The room was clean and featured internet, television, air conditioning and a fridge. The bathroom was small (average sink, tub/shower, toilet). The price of the hotel was very good. I was happy with my stay. I would return.

A few weeks ago, my friends and I traveled to Montreal and stayed at the Chateau Royal Hotel Suites. The staff were very helpful, polite and happy. They helped us carry our luggage from the car and into the lobby. The rooms were big enough for the three of us. The rooms were also cleaned and stocked daily. In addition, our room had a great view. The location of the hotel is also very good. It is near lots of attractions and restaurants. The Chateau Royal Hotel Suites is up in my top hotels I've stayed in (and I've stayed in quite a few) in Montreal!

It was a year back when I went to Montréal to party with a couple of my friends. We stayed here. The staff thankfully knew English so it was a pleasant welcome for us. The breakfast was great the next morning. We all stayed here for 2 nights. The beds were really soft and comfy. Bathrooms were really neat and tidy. Rooms smelled really fresh. The cleaning lady threw out the garbage and kept it nice and clean. Room service was really fast. I had a fun experience here and would like to recommend this hotel to everyone who goes to Montréal.

I'm originally from Montreal, but been living in Toronto for the past few years. I finally went back home and decided to stay at this hotel. Boy did I miss people in Montreal. Everyone there was extremely nice and helpful. I remember my baggage strap broke and the staff there immediately offered to help me repurchase a new bag. That was the highlight of my day right there. Aside from the great staff, the location is just fantastic. The rooms were good in size and the beds were comfortable. I honestly loved my stay at this hotel and I can't wait till I go back again.

I stayed in a junior suite, which had two queen beds, a kitchenette, living space, and a balcony. The suite was spacious and reasonably priced. The bathroom was a little small for four people. The kitchenette was great for making snacks and keeping cold drinks on hand. We stayed very high up, so there was a nice view of the city lights. It is a great location near bars, clubs, restaurants and shopping. You don’t need a car because everything is walking distance from the hotel. There is lots of shopping nearby on Rue Sainte Catherine. Fast and friendly service from the staff. Everyone speaks English, so you don’t need to know any French.
