Hotel was not bad, but rooms were a bit dated. Room was clean, except for a/c filter (very dirty). Lots of features, and would have considered staying there again, BUT when checking out, they asked me if I "drank the little bottle of water" in the room (which I did) - then they charged me 4 bucks for it. They had complimentary breakfast, and an evening happy hour, and then they do something TRICKY like that, at check-out. They are working HARD to leave customers with a bad impression of the hotel - we don't understand why they choose to do such an obvious "bad move" at the end.... I complained, and they never responded at all.

The original room had a foul odor and the hotel did give us another room but they did not assist with moving us and they did not offer a discount for the inconvenience. The staff was not friendly and they appeared to be annoyed with our complaint.
I am not likely
to return to the Chase Suite Hotel Baton Rouge.
I would not recommend it to friends.

This hotel was a great value for the price with wonderful amenities. The rooms had everything one could need and the expansive lobby with breakfast buffet was great. It also allowed me a place to meet with people while in Baton Rouge.

Room was loud, had old appliances, my front door never completely shut at the top, and just felt unsafe. It was a big room with a full kitchenette and the gumbo was awesome.

I stayed at the Chase Suite Hotel and the service was bad, the maintenance department came to my room for three days in a row trying to fix an electrical plug. I called about it and the general manager said he had other things to do.

Okay
This place is quite quaint, but it could use some renovation. It is not very fancy. It was convenient for me because the hotel is pretty close to LSU. I enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The complimentary breakfast was quite nice. I think the decor here ...
