I came here deciding that a majority of positive reviews were good enough to gamble on, and I was right. My room was clean, comfortable but not luxurious and well kept throughout my stay. The bed was very comfortable, though I wish I'd brought my...
67 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
My husband was having surgery at the UVA Hospital. I called the hotel directly asking for an open ended reservation beginning on Sunday and concluding either Friday or Saturday. The desk clerk said that would be no problem, but apparently entered it into the computer as ending on TUESDAY. Consequently, my room was re-booked beginning on Friday night. The hotel staff has not been any help at all -- never offering to find me a room at another hotel or any assistance at all. Corporate says that it's my word against theirs, so here I am spreading the word. Don't trust them. This is lousy customer service. The last thing I needed during a stressful time.

This is a decent place in a great location (by U of V) but most places of this type offer a free continental breakfast and all they offer is coffee out of a machine. There is also a charge for Internet access. There are numerous lunch/dinner...

Because I was traveling alone, I wanted to stay in a hotel that I would feel safe in (that did not have an entrance from the outside). The Red Roof Inn had just been remodeled and the rooms were great. Everything was new! The beds were...
45 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for business
The location is excellent for access to UVA Medical Center. The morning coffee is great. I would like better TV service to be available, such as more channels offered.
I am very likely
to return to the Red Roof Inn Charlottesville.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
