Charleston Plaza Hotel Motel

The only positive was the very friendly and accommodating staff. Everything else was awful: when I called to make a reservation I couldn't get the price I saw on the website unless I booked THROUGH the website (strange); when I got to the hotel, even though I had a confirmation code with me my reservation was nowhere to be found and there were no more king bed rooms, only rooms with two double beds (annoying); the hallway carpets were stained and wallpaper was coming off the walls (gross); the room itself appeared clean at first until I found that one of the pillows wasn't a pillow at all but a sown up bag of COTTON BALLS (WTF??); AND the nail in the Charleston Plaza Hotel's coffin: I pulled back the sheets of one bed to find a BUG, and I pulled back the sheets of the other to find other people's HAIRS everywhere.

As wonderful as the staff was, I can safely say that under NO circumstances will I ever return here.

It's a good hotel at a reasonable price.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: They had a good grade of furnishings.

It was a very convenient location. It's right off the highway and close to a good restaurant.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: I was happy that the front desk staff was very helpful.

This hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, what more can you ask for? The desk staff went above my expectations.
