This is one of Copenhagen's best budget focused hotels in terms of rooms, facilities and location. Guests have the added benefit and value of being able to use the DGI-Byen swimming pool and spa free of charge. DGI-Byen has a rather unique circular swimming pool amongst other health equipment and treatments. (01/07 LC) Centrum is an traditional Copenhagen building with five floors. It has a whitewashed facade with large windows. As one of the best budget focused hotels in the centre of town, Centrum is located only a five minute walk from Copenhagen Central Station, Tivoli Gardens, the main shopping street and the Town Hall Square. The location, which is formerly a red light district, has been cleaned up exceptionally well and is now a trendy area in which to live with many bars, coffee shops and restaurants. DGI-Byen, Copenhagen's famous leisure centre is only five minutes away on foot.

In February 2003 the Centrum opened after two months renovation. The hotel has kept the charm of the old building, but with a new interior, with the 77 rooms being tastefully furnished in a Scandinavian style. The Hotel Centrum is part of DGI-byen, which is the latest Multi centre of Copenhagen. Located right behind the Copenhagen's central train station, the facilities comprises of the hotel, a Conference Centre, sports area with indoor/outdoor climbing wall, bowling alley, shooting range, spa & swimming pool, cafe's and restaurants.
