The Cedars has beautiful creek-side rooms on a 100ft cliff overlooking Oak Creek, a year round stream, with fabulous red rock views in the background. Creek access, just 77 steps away, for fishing, or just relaxing by the stream. Or take a dip in our pool or spa and enjoy the same fantastic views by day or star by night and listen to the soothing sounds of stream. There is beautiful garden to be enjoyed with majestic red rock vistas as a backdrop. Enjoy the sounds of the rapids from Oak Creek and see wildlife from your private balcony. Sedona is all about views, and The Cedars are unexcelled. We are close to all shops and street to visit the best art galleries and upscale shops. We are located on seven acres in the center of Sedona with an extensive green belt on two sides. So, you have the best of all, and close by. No parking hassles. Walk to everything.

Everything about this stay -- from the check-in process to the time we left -- perfectly exemplified how not to run a hotel. The innkeeper was extremely rude both at check-in and check-out because we booked through a 3rd party; the bathrooms have windows through which people can look in from the parking lot; the shag carpets were filthy. It was one of the few hotels with vacancies on the weekend of the art festival, and now we know why. The location is the only thing appealing about this property. Spend your money elsewhere.

Okay
First, this is NOT a resort as the name says. Typical of a motel that has seen better days, but has had enough cosmetic changes to make it acceptable. The view from our private balcony was great. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Small...

Choose this hotel. It is walking distance to Sedona's downtown shops and to Tlaquepaque, and believe me, you do not want to deal with parking in Sedona. Most of the rooms have balconies and fabulous views of the red rocks and sounds of Oak Creek...
