There was a smell – Posted Jul 19, 2007

Mediocre

The staff was friendly, really could'nt ask for much more for service. The room was okay, however there was a terrible stench in the room, I slept with the window open and the air conditioning on, which that also smelled. I dont think I will...

Okay
49 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The staff was incredible, helpful and courteous. My only complaint was the lack of available rooms and what I had to settle for was a bit more than I was expecting to pay.

I liked the well lit parking lots. There was limited access to the building with locking doors requiring a room key for access.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Cedarbrook Village Resort.
I might recommend it to friends.

Okay
56 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

It was located next to where I caught the ferry. I had to convince the desk clerk that they had quoted us a better price than they were going to charge us. I had the reservation confirmation, fortunately.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Cedarbrook Village Resort.
I might recommend it to friends.

It was nice, clean and it had the amenities I wanted and a great continental breakfast.

I am very likely to return to the Cedarbrook Village Resort.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Do NOT Stay HERE – Posted Aug 10, 2006

Horrible

It was dirty, the front desk was not very organized, there were missing ceiling tiles in the bathroom - YUCK! Lights were missing in the hallways and the entry doors stayed unlocked the entire night. It was terrible. I couldn't sleep so I...

Horrible
50 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

The hotel did not have coupons as promised. When TV cable went out, the desk staff was rude to our questions and continued to check in four families without telling them of no cable. When I asked about a coffee maker without coffee, I was advised "We only promised the coffee maker, if you want coffee you have to get that yourself". The rooms were below average - peeling wallpaper, mildew smell, and needed paint.

If we stay in Mackinaw City when we go to Macinac Island, we usually always stay at the Ramada Inn.

We had nothing but problems from the start. We did not have ref. in the room like we where told. They brought one up after a hour. Then we where locked out on the second nite and the third day when we where already paid for we where told by the maid ...

I loved the city, but.... – Posted Aug 02, 2005

Mediocre

For $99 a night, in the middle of the week, I was hoping that the room would have been a little nicer. The bed and pillows were awful, and the bathroom was a bit broken up.

The service there was good.
