Catalonia Zaragoza Plaza hotel was first open in 2003 and is located just 50 metres from the square and Basilica of Pilar, in the heart of Zaragoza's historic centre. The hotel building is from the Modernist period and was built at the turn of the 20th century. Its three facades are beautifully adorned with forged metal and stone plant and floral motifs which surround the windows and balconies.
