The Waikiki Grand Hotel offers our guests luxury vacation accommodations at a reasonable price. The Waikiki Grand Hotel, a Gay Friendly property, offers spectacular Ocean, Diamond Head, Kapiolani Park, and City views are available from many of our newly renovated rooms. These individual condos are in the heart of Waikiki, a minutes walk to Waikiki Beach, Queens Beach,(gay beach) and many other attractions.. Please note that cribs are complimentary upon availability, however rollaway beds have a charge of $25 per night.. Beginning Dec 1 2008,The Waikiki Grand Hotel will offer check out maid service only for its hotel guests. There will no longer be daily maid service. .

I stayed in several rooms of this hotel during my stay here because I kept extending my vacation by a day. They are all unique and beautiful. Rooms and service wonderful. Only complaint again is this last room smells like someone smoked all night. I actually think maybe a discount should be offered if you have to give out room that smells like an ashtray. Overall outstanding service & hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times... simply because I like it. The staff is very welcoming and friendly- willing to help you with directions or helping you find something good to eat. Although the hotel is "older", each unit is distinctive in decor and layout- some are vibrant with the walls painted blue, red and yellow; others have timeless Hawaiian elegance with bamboo furnishings. If you're looking for a particular room (like one with a kitchen) look at their website or call the hotel, the staff is more then willing to help you. I recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Waikiki and I will be back! :)

I stayed at this hotel August 1 -13, 2006. The condo was filthy, and I spent the first two
days cleaning.
After I was there a few days, I flushed the toilet and everything I flushed came up in the bathtub. The next day when the tub backed up again, I called the Department of Health.
After the plumbing inspector called the hotel, a staff member, screamed at me and asked “Why did you call them?”
The manager was unresponsive. I asked to change to another hotel after the flushing event, but there was no response. I had paid for the trip in advance, and it was just a horrible experience!
