We were a little concerned about staying here because it was only $57 a night and the reviews were so mixed. But I have to say, we were very surprised (pleasantly). The location is perfect, it has a lovely open lobby with a gorgeous coy pond and friendly people. It was very quiet even thought it is in a central location on 2 busy streets. The elevators I had read were scary but it seems as if they replaced them because they were very nice. We were told they are under new management so I think they have really done a lot of work because the photos did not do the place justice and I think were old. The rooms were clean and comfortable, we had a gorgeous view and we even met someone who was staying there month to month as a student because they have a monthly rate of only $1100 which we ended referring my best friends son there who is going to be attending college and needed an affordable place to live. With the kitchen, internet, tv, ac, pool, free continental breakast, pool bar, maid service etc. it is the perfect place for a young college student to live. (no electric, cable bills) You can't beat it! We will definately be staying there again. They are always offering good rates that we found to be the best deal in town.
