38 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Our family enjoyed our stay at the Castle Inn and Suites. We could walk to Disneyland. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a view of the fireworks from our window! I liked having a refrigerator and a microwave. The only complaint is that the pool was too small. It gets crowded easily.

The hotel was right by Disneyland, within walking distance, so it served my purpose.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Castle Inn and Suites.
I might recommend it to friends.

We have year round passes to Disneyland so we don't spend much time in the hotel. It was quiet (apart from the diesel truck starting up outside our door early one morning) and the beds were fairly comfortable, and the pool was warm. It’s not directly across the street from the main gate, it’s a 1/4 mile or so away. One night we hopped a shuttle for the hotel across the street. Shhhh. For the price, I have no complaints.

This place was filthy. The carpet was dirty, the shower head had black and brown "gunk" in it. The housekeeping staff is terrible. I even tried leaving a $10.00 tip on the bed after asking the front office to take care of the shower and general cleanliness of the room. No result other than the tip being gone.

I feel terrible writing this review as when I stayed there about eight years ago, it was a nice, clean place. I was very disappointed. The front desk people, however, are extremely nice and efficient; the management just needs to do some general maintenance and hire a new housekeeping staff. One last thing: What in the heck is that smell outside the elevator on the ground floor? Yuck!

I am not likely to return to the Castle Inn and Suites.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The location is perfect, but the bathroom (particularly the shower head) was disappointing.

This hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable. It has good proximity to Disneyland. But they need to offer shuttle service to the park gates, walking is not an option for the mildly handicapped. I was very grateful for the elevator. They need more lighting in parking lot and to keep soda vending machines stocked. They also need more large sized towels in the double room suites.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Castle Inn and Suites.
I might recommend it to friends.

The lights in the room did not work well and no one fixed them. The room door was left open 3 of 4 days and we have yet to hear from the company about our complaint. The elevator was not working and staff had no clue. We were traveling with elderly people who could not use stairs well.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Castle Inn and Suites.
I would not recommend it to friends.

This hotel was situated in a great location - across the street from Disneyland. The price was well worth what was paid. It was comfortable for the price. The front desk people were very helpful.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Castle Inn and Suites.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
