We actually didn't stay here we went to eat as they have a really reasonable buffet. We actually found an AWESOME Hawaiian Craft Store hidden in the back that had piles of items. It is totally unorganized and overwhelming but in a good way as the prices are so good, there were local people in there buying bulk items for their own inventory. We stocked up so to send items to our friends and family in the mainland. I spent $50 and ended up with 40 necklaces all kinds of tribal looking and shell ones, some windchimes, planters, rings, bracelets, hair accessories and more. Truly a great little find. The hotel itself seemed really interesting. It is old but classic and has like a melrose place kind of look with the pool in the center with the hotel build around it. It has a cute little patio internet cafe and the people seemed happy. The front desk had a Wyland framed painting behind it.

I stayed with family of 5. Pricing was excellent. The location was great. Within walking distance of many food establishments and shops (including the International market). Beach was near enough to walk too also.

Mediocre
We stayed here because the room had already been paid for and we felt trapped. It looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. The dishes were dirty in the kitchen and there was blood on the towels in the bathroom. The sheets were not...
We found the hotel antiquated and in serious need of updating. The bathroom's moldy black tile easily belied it's 60 year age. I doubt it had been updated in that amount of time.
There was a strong chemical smell when we exited the...

Okay
The hotel was not as it was pictured. The kitchenette was not in very good shape. the sliding glass patio doors were hard to move. The bathroom did not have a working fan. The shower had only one small place for the soap and no place for shampoo....
