It was great except for an elevator fire. They did not evacuate the building.

This hotel made me feel practical: I can visit often with their generous offers.

I am very likely to return to the Casino Royale Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I've stayed at most on the strip, and this is my current favorite. Very reasonably priced and fun. 100 X odds on Craps (it is one of the funnest and crowded craps games) and I thought the crew and dealers were cool. They have my favorite - Caribbean Stud, getting hard to find. Check out the convenient location on the website. Small rooms - I'm not even sure an extra cot would fit, so don't plan on sneaking 6 guys in one room. Really comfortable beds, good A/C, and water pressure (not that you'll be in the room much in Vegas). For a quick cab, cut through the covered parking lot in the rear, then to the right to the Taxi line at Harrah's. Casino Royale really does not have one of their own. Great home base when visiting Vegas.

Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Most importantly it was right on the Strip, next door to Harrah's on one side and the Venetian on the other.

This is an older hotel, so not so big (only four stories) and you can easily find your way around. Every room has a blow dryer, refridgerator and safe right in the room! I haven't gotten all of these amenities when I've stayed at bigger name casinos (MGM, Luxor, Excaliber, Flamingo - had ants!) The rooms are clean. The service is good. The location is excellent - very close to Caesar's, Mirage, Harrah's, Venetian, etc. Casino Royale has a Subway, Outback Steakhouse, Ben and Jerry's and a pizza place for food. Other fast food is right next door. And with Harrah's also next door you can easily walk there to rent a car, get a taxi, schedule a shuttle to the airport, catch the monorail, or have your choice of several other restaurants. This is a great casino and a good bargain.

stayed there may 24-27/07. clean room, nice service. Adults only, so no crying kids. friendly staff. Just hope the elevator is fixed. Liked that you had to slide a card to go up to rooms, no one can just take an elevator up. small enough to feel safe to go downstairs and play any time of the night.

It was old. But for the amount of time I stayed in the hotel room in Las Vegas it worked out fine.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Casino Royale Hotel.
I might recommend it to friends.

The price is cheap and the location is great but it is just a place to sleep during the business trip. I would stay at a hotel with more amenities if I was to stay in Las Vegas on vacation with my family.

I am very likely to return to the Casino Royale Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

If you like to travel to Vegas and stay in the middle of it all, but don't have the budget for Strip hotels, this is the place for you. The hotel part of Casino Royale used to be a Travelodge, and that's what this place is, a nice, fairly clean, travel motel. The bathroom was clean and looked recently renovated.

Our room had a king bed, TV, and a handy counter area with a coffee pot where we could leave drinks, snacks, etc. There was also a mini-fridge in our room, although the friends we were traveling with didn't have a fridge in their room.

One advantage of Casino Royale is that it only has 100+ rooms. Therefore, you avoid the obscenely long check-in/check-out lines you see at the big mega-hotels.

I will stay at Casino Royale again when I go back to Vegas (which is as often as I can!). It's clean, comfortable, centrally located (between Harrah's and Venetian, across from Mirage), and a great value for the price.

The casino is in the middle of the Strip. It is inexpensive. It has low domination gamming. The restaurants are good to very good. They have good complimentary offerings.

I am very likely to return to the Casino Royale Hotel.

If you plan on spending most of your time out on the strip, and don't mind a no-frills bed, bathroom, and place to leave your gear for the weekend, this is a great option.

We had heard that some of the rooms have poor A/C. One of the two rooms did have bad A/C, and while it was 110 deg. outside, it wasn't unbearable, but it was a little uncomfortable.

The in-room safe is a huge +. Don't (really, for the love of God, do not) go to the Denny's. Luckily, I was sober enough to look around first, and had cereal. But you can go North or South from here easily. The casino is run down, play elsewhere. I actually found the place by looking for the best odds on craps in Vegas - 100x! Also $1 drinks in bar, much better than other casino bars, so it's a great place to hang.

I'll go back with friends, but probably not with my wife because of the A/C.

First things first, the Casino Royale was a pain to find on the strip during the night. With all the restaurant signs around it, it was difficult to place.

We then parked in a very vacant and dirty garage where there were several run down cars. We climbed into the elevator which smelled like urine and vomit and down to the casino level. It was a small trek through the parking lot and then through the cramped casino where we had to ask twice for directions to the check-in desk.

The staff looked like they were recruited straight from the local trailer park and were not too helpful for our late night arrival. We were given our room and we headed off to another smelly elevator. After arriving on the third floor we walked down the run down hallway and just as I thought to myself "This is a place you'd bring a hooker" I could have swore I heard the sounds of sexual bliss. Oh God, could this get worse?

During the middle of the night someone tried to get into our room for over twenty minutes. But that was not the only thing that kept us awake that night. Just behind our room was the garbage compactor for the local McDonald's and other restaurants. All night just about every hour we were awoke by the sound of clanking bottles and debris.

In the morning, we awoke from the little sleep we got soar and wanting to go. My wife took a brief shower probably about six minutes and the water was already getting cold. I got in after her and had to rush to have lukewarm water, but was unsuccessful as less than a minute into the shower, it was ice cold. We then promptly packed our bags, checked out and headed off to the Stratosphere never looking back to this awful place!

I am not likely to return to the Casino Royale Hotel.
I would not recommend it to friends.

I was happy with the choice. The hotel was clean and quiet. The price was great and the hotel is located right in the middle of the Strip! I will stay there again.

This hotel made me feel important: When I was at the check in and later when I had a question I had the employees full attention which made me feel very important.

I am very likely to return to the Casino Royale Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
