Hotel room in line with $69 pricing; friendly, efficient housekeeper; efficient, helpful front desk personnel; dealers at table games mostly good... HOWEVER, playing at a craps table one night, a pit boss was extremely loud and rude to a shooter. The shooter remained calm and mature and complied with the instructions by the pit boss on the throwing of the dice. But at the end of the fantastic roll, the pit boss continued loud admonishment of the shooter and banned the guest from shooting the dice again. Another pit boss then literally threw the shooter's player card toward him onto the table. A "big boss" was in the pit and said nothing to the employees about their unprofessional actions. One young lady even told the pit boss this was her first time at craps and that when she threw the dice please don't yell at her like that. The inappropriate communication behavior by the pit boss drove some of us committed craps players away. We found $3 craps tables downtown with especially great people and service at Binion's - they were polite, customer caring, friendly - even when directing guests on rules of dice throwing. We played over 40 hours of craps at Binion's with excellent service, fun atmosphere and even some winnings. One Casino Royale dealer told me that management kept up with table games' profits and losses throughout the day and night and pressured pit bosses when tables were losing to the house. Maybe that pit boss was trying to interrupt the shooter's great run at that moment - the shooter still made all of us a lot of money quickly. No more Casino Royale for us.

I've stayed at most on the strip, and this is my current favorite. Very reasonably priced and fun. 100 X odds on Craps (it is one of the funnest and crowded craps games) and I thought the crew and dealers were cool. They have my favorite - Caribbean Stud, getting hard to find. Check out the convenient location on the website. Small rooms - I'm not even sure an extra cot would fit, so don't plan on sneaking 6 guys in one room. Really comfortable beds, good A/C, and water pressure (not that you'll be in the room much in Vegas). For a quick cab, cut through the covered parking lot in the rear, then to the right to the Taxi line at Harrah's. Casino Royale really does not have one of their own. Great home base when visiting Vegas.

Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Most importantly it was right on the Strip, next door to Harrah's on one side and the Venetian on the other.

This is an older hotel, so not so big (only four stories) and you can easily find your way around. Every room has a blow dryer, refridgerator and safe right in the room! I haven't gotten all of these amenities when I've stayed at bigger name casinos (MGM, Luxor, Excaliber, Flamingo - had ants!) The rooms are clean. The service is good. The location is excellent - very close to Caesar's, Mirage, Harrah's, Venetian, etc. Casino Royale has a Subway, Outback Steakhouse, Ben and Jerry's and a pizza place for food. Other fast food is right next door. And with Harrah's also next door you can easily walk there to rent a car, get a taxi, schedule a shuttle to the airport, catch the monorail, or have your choice of several other restaurants. This is a great casino and a good bargain.

This hotel has a truly excellent location. The price is great and the table games have the lowest minimums in town. I have stayed there several times and I will stay there again in the future.

This hotel made me feel practical: The price, given the excellent location, is very practical. Saving money on the room allows you to spend more at the tables.

I am very likely to return to the Casino Royale Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
