After booking months in advance my family was turned away on a sold out Saturday night because we has a small pet with us. We understand policies but we weren't allowed to let the small dog spend the night in our camper out side the hotel. Luckily the Holiday Inn Express down the street (also no pets allowed) was considerate enough to have their two desk clerks phone around for the better part of a half hour to find us accommodations. Some folks are in the hospitality business and some folks just rent rooms.....
