Nothing much to say except IMPRESSED. Very well furnished with bed, TV, LAN line, showers, microwave oven, electric stove etc. The apartment building also has a cafe and a gym. Very nice. And definitely very clean! The people at the information desk are friendly and helpful too! Although it's a bit more expensive at 70000+ won a night, it's worth it for those who need good facilities or are just planning for a short but comfortable stay.

The Samsung Hotel was a blessing. One thing about advanced booking hotels in Korea is that you can never quite be sure that your reservations will be honored when you arrive. We had such an experience and were literally wandering the streets of Seoul at eleven o'clock at night, dragging mounds of luggage behind us, popping into every hotel and, sometimes spa, along the way. And then we found the Samsung: in our price range, friendly (if non-English speaking) staff, and gorgeous rooms with PCs, internet, massive flat screen TVs, private bathroom, everything you could hope for in a hotel. To top it all off, it was in the ideal location. Tucked just off of one of the main streets, it was a five minute walk from Tapgol Park and Insadong, not to mention the bell which was rung on New Years Eve.
