Surprised to find negative reviews. We (2) went Dec 29-Jan 5/08...weather was very cool...but fun driving on the beach, walking....car rental is a must.

Lovely base area to travel from....good food shopping areas..clothes....

Hotel itself was modest, clean, friendly employees, excellent parking,

Room is good for 2 people or two adults/2 children. Some rooms are connected. Had a beach view....

I'd definitely go again and recommend to anyone interested in NOT staying in their room all day.....get out and enjoy the wonderful area. Medical within a mile! Large king bed, pull out couch.....for us 'bigger

doesn't mean better.....rugs were older but no stains, towels changed 3x per week, all basics available. Free laundry facilities!

We stayed at Casa Del Mar as part of the sampler package from Blue Green. As soon as we entered the room, the smell of cigarette smoke was over powering. The only positive aspect of our stay was the beautiful Ocean view from the balcony.

We expected this hotel to be of much better quality than it was. The air conditioner wasn't working properly so there was too much humidity in the rooms.

We actually loved the decor. It was done in bright beachy colors and the kitchen was well supplied with cute dishes and furnishings.

We just thought the hotel property - lobby, pool area, etc. were not very fresh looking.

We won't stay here again.

I had expected the rooms to be bigger, but they were actually very small for four adults to be moving around in. The management could have been friendlier. The location was fine though.

This location was not near what I was led to believe it would be for being part of the Blue-Green properties. There was a small amount of mildew in the bathroom. The condo was not cool for our arrival. The refrigerator had been turned off, so I lost some frozen items I had picked up on the way there. Also there was no ice until the next day. The balcony furniture was ultra cheap and dirty. It was impossible to see the water when sitting on the balcony because of the solid construction of the balcony. On the plus side, the condo was very quiet, and quite spacious for one adult and two teens. There were two bedrooms and three televisions, so everyone was happy. The place was ok, just not nearly as nice as I expected.
