male with an economy budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed at 3 different hotels during our visit to Florida Keys. This hotel had the worst customer service. We had booked an ocean view room but the front desk attendant Bridget assigned us a garden view room. When we asked her for an ocean view room she was very rude and obnoxious and offered no other room. They charge you for an ocean view room but give you a garden view room. We were there for 4 days and they offered us no other ocean view rooms to us during this time. Bridget even lied to me by telling me that she left a message for me at my home phone number when an ocean front room was available. When I returned back home I found out that no such message was left for me. She is obviously very dumb because she never called me on my cell or at the room at Casa Marina. I never thought that front desk staff Bridget would lie to me like that.
Case Marina has very rude and unprofessional front desk staff and they lie straight to your face. I never had these problems staying at 2 other hotels in the Keys. I saw people bringing their dogs in the pool too. The beach at Casa Marina is rocky so it is not suitable for swimming.

This was our first time to the Keys and the Casa Marina made Key West even more incredible! The place is clean and the staff was wonderful. Not to mention it really does look like a palace, and the ocean view was beautiful! There are many things...

We stayed at the Casa in October 2008 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very clean although the shower can be a problem in trying to keep water off the floor. The design is pretty, but not practical. The lobby had a free non-aloholic ...

We just returned from a 7 night stay, starting on New Years Day. The hotel is lovely and more attractive than the pictures on their website would indicate. The beach and pool area is absolutely beautiful, and there always seemed to be enough beach...

Despite arriving at one of the busiest times of the year, the hotel didn't feel crowded and the staff was friendly and efficient. The facilities are luxurious, with a great not-too-crowded white sand beach with hammocks and chaises and two -- count ...

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in September 2008. It was low season for Key West where we paid $180/night (inclusive). The room is EXCELLENT!!! It is more of a conference style hotel. No whirlpool, but 2 swimming pools. One fresh water and the ot

This hotel was exactly like the website stated. They had just completed a 43 million dollar renovation, and you could tell. The place looked like a palace. The employees of the hotel were all very helpful, and babied us for the week. Our room...
50 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We found the place warm and friendly. Have been staying in Key West for the last 20 years mainly at another luxury hotel on the other side of the island. We found the Casa Marina Resort to be tastefully restored. The private beach was really a plus. Stayed at the beach during the day and went to Duval Street in the evenings. We ate at the hotel for breakfast and lunch. We found the food to be wonderful. Our hotel room had a balcony over-looking the ocean. Room was of good size and clean. We are going to make this our hotel of the future when visiting Key West......
